I work with shoestring budgets. And, even if this movie was someone's supreme passion project and they had all kinds of free help and sweated every detail and poured everything they had into it...I don't see how you could make a respectable full length movie with $5000 pounds. Especially with TF effects.

Missa shows you can do some pretty solid TF without a Hollywood budget, but I'm dubious about a full length feature for that small an amount. The bar for mainstream content and the level of "suspension of disbelief" is much higher than for fetish content because you are trying to reach a larger audience with a much less narrow interest.

We can be easy targets for people who think they can raise some quick cash for either a project OR to line their own pockets. I am NOT saying this particular Kickstarter is doing that. It looks legit in the sense that I think they do want to make an actual film. I am just saying that when it comes to these things, everyone should be discerning with their hard earned cash.

I agree, that perhaps if there was a visual of even just a partial FX, makeup, or prop that showed what the werewolf aesthetic was going to be like, it would be easier to pull the plug on a donation.
