Re: The Ring: Part II

My review on The Overflowing Bra:

Quote:
This long-awaited follow-up was worth the wait! Excellent reality-altering transformations, and the sex scenes aren't bad, either.
I'll be more spoiler-y here:

One thing I really enjoyed because it was unexpected was the change to Barbara, the woman who'd rear-ended him -- the way her encounter with Mark was described at the very beginning of Part I had actually made me wonder if she was a witch who had been the cause of everything, by somehow enchanting Mark's class ring. Apparently not, though (well, unless her enchantment went way out of control).

I do have a couple of minor issues, though:

1. The ring says "Change the World," but we never really get see anything beyond Mark's own life. Obviously, we can assume things are quite different if "Fellatio 401" is a class that's offered at an accredited high school... but it would have been nice to have at least a small glimpse of the wider world. (And, yes, I realize Mark may be inside a "bubble" and everything is perfectly normal outside his town, or something like that.)

2. I don't care how many schoolgirls you get to have sex with, I think getting aged from 18 to early 30s is a bad deal. Or maybe I'm just saying this because I'm past my early 30s? I guess we can probably assume Mark's "girls' school headmaster" life isn't permanent, although unless I missed something, no transformation has been reversed, just added to.

I know, I know, the "Embrace the New You" note should probably be taken as a signal that everything's going to work out -- and hopefully there will be a Part III before too long that addresses some of this.
