Personally I prefered the first chapter more then the rest of it. Once things ramped up and the tf actually became linked to evil, loss of self, and world conquest instead of just being a girls confusion about her body, it kind of lost me.
It seems from your comments that you origionally were going to stay in the same vein as the first chapter, but others seem to like the way things ended up.
