The first depiction of it is somewhat lackluster due to the art style basically balloon arm with shape but no definition or shading. When the conflict is over the new artist draws her with some decent muscle, etc. Then the writers go and fubar the whole thing by saying "Oh her strength is so much now she can't interact with the fragile world around her." Then proceed to ferret her away in a big ugly space suit until she's more back to square one I think. While I appreciate the slight exploration of someone who's been a super for awhile suddenly having rookie level problems with controlling their power and it made some sense she'd been only training in none gamma form that entire time, putting her in the suit and then hitting a slight reset button was annoying.
I have the series packed away, but I haven't looked at it in awhile. Think it went off the rails big times, by having it be the big 'justify your existence' for some stupid reason. Also the depictions of some characters went kind of weird with an artist change like Southpaw having an overly large gauntlet when she is introduced and then with the artist change it shot up to almost as big as the character.
