I just kind of think it's funny that, considering Japan's penchant for fucked up depictions of genitals (i.e. tentacles), it was only when they hired a westerner to write RE7 that we got the insect hive crotch. Before this, the weirdest the series got was a monster dude who tried to put an embryo in various people until he settled on his 12 year old daughter and a crazy cross-dresser who probably wanted to bone his sister who was hibernating in a tank. You know, normal stuff.
