Nice walk through, w_oo_t, I know it should be helpful for others. Don't forget the key commands either.
Some important ones include:
[Ctrl] + [Z] or [U] : Undo
[Ctrl] + [Y] or [R] : Redo
[Ctrl] + [D] : Deselect
[Delete] or [Backspace] : Clears All

I've tried using that paint program a couple times already and I just can't a handle on drawing with a mouse.
