Yeah, she did get fangs and a slightly bestial look, it would've been nice to see the "brutey treatment" go further. (see below)

I'd say they're worth checking out, though they're not great, they are full-fledged canon ECs at least, Supergirl is really into the villain role in both, and they're passably well fleshed out (though it's never quite enough, it would be nice to see EC that lasts more than one or two issues). Supergirl fought Superman viciously for her lord Darkseid. Grodd was subjugating people by "bringng out the beast" in them with some magical talisman called the Heart of Darkness.


Actually the combo of Raven and Supergirl discussions reminds me that in "The New Titans" #120-121, Supergirl was corrupted by Raven;
