So he wants to pay himself: 59.00 per hour (biased upon a standard 8.5 H work day) which you might be saying WHOA! (That’s way more than what a Chemical Engineer or a Nurse or a Computer Network Architect makes!)
Compare that to the cost of a modern day comic budgets:
Pencil Art $100-400
Ink Art $75-300
Lettering $40-50
Coloring $100-150
Total: $315 - 900
His Total $500 (His rank in the range: 32 percentile of the asking rate for a standard comic book budget... I got this value using the excel PERCENTAGERANK function with a 3 in significance)
Then my point is:
DAMN good for him. He seems to be making the bread using INDIEGOGO, which from what I understand lets you keep any of the money collected unlike Kickstarter where its all or nothing. So Rock on my content creator rock on.
(Seriously, his art is really good even if you consider it cartoon-y)
