Ah. I see. It's because you don't advertise it that it's not illegal.

.... and what legal system do you follow again? The "it's only illegal if you get caught" school?

- Edit -
And just for fun, skimmed through the End User License Agreement. You know, that "I agree" part when you installed their client. Here's a rather interesting section.

Quote:
B. You agree that you shall not, under any circumstances,
...
(iv) facilitate, create or maintain any unauthorized connection to the Game or the Service, including without limitation any connection to any unauthorized server that emulates, or attempts to emulate, the Service. All connections to the Game and/or the Service, whether created by the Game Client or by other tools and utilities, may only be made through methods and means expressly approved by Blizzard. Under no circumstances may you connect, or create tools that allow you or others to connect, to the Game's proprietary interface other than those expressly provided by Blizzard for public use.
What that means, in simple english, is that thou shalt not trick our software into connecting in any manner other than the one we provide, nor use any other software to connect to our servers.

There were a couple other sections that also made third party servers fishy, but that was the one that pretty much said "No." End o' debate, sonny. I'm not saying don't do it, I'm just saying "Admit it's illegal and you know it."
