Just goes to show that luck is something you make for yourself.
I mean, I lucked out when I finally picked up Dawn of Mana, and found that it's a whole hell-of-a-lot better than Children of Mana.
Oh, and the little magical pixie you get, Faye, kinda goes through a growth spurt after what one would call an "Epic Battle", between albino-looking-emperor stereotype number three, and the main character, who's beating the mana sword(being wielded by the emperor) by using a chunk of the mana tree as a sword.
Now that's a manas sword.
