Just found this article on Variety about a movie in pre-production called
Micro. It's based on a posthumously-finished Michael Crichton novel. It deals with a bunch of grad students working at a mysterious lab in Hawaii who are shrunk and forced to survive in the rainforest.
This sounds like a legit blockbuster-type movie with Crichton, the creator of
Jurassic Park, attached. Has anyone read the novel, which the article says came out in 2011? How small do the students get? Are we talking
Honey, I Shrunk the Kids small, smaller, or bigger? I may have to track down this novel and read it now.
