That one though not horror, was on the same purpose with the bad ending, which I usually try to avoid.
FIGURE072 has happy ending, though the transformation is off-screen. There was a similar one by Nerima Yoshito, which involves the girls from a magazine, but the drawing style isn't on the same cuteness level.
