If it's their specific creation process you are wondering, they all are based
on different historical myths that explains how they were created. For
example, the
spider girl is based on
Arachne from
Greek myths.
Arachne was a woman who was talented in
weaving. She was arrogant from her ability and decided to challenge
Athena, the goddess of wisdom and war, in a weaving battle. She
obviously lost and was punished for her arrogance by being cursed to
become a spider. Some versions depict her to have become a half-spider
half-human monster instead of just a normal spider. In this anime, the
spider girl is a decendant of
Arachne based on that version of the myth.
Interesting, isn't it?
