And I've seen this done a few times where an artist takes a commission at a reduced price if the commissioner gives them their blessing to sell it. The whole crux of the matter is whether or not it's worth it to buy though, since art that isn't top-tier
must be free according to internet expectations. But people can always just not buy it - it's only when they cheat you with misleading product is it a low-blow.
Also I bought the comic when it came out. Great quality - only kind of sad I don't get to see the faces, lol.
