It was mostly that you seemed to have the characters in a good place to some degree. Sure Emily was just barely in control she did have control to some extent. Was not a rampaging beast. Also her experiences and likely others in a similar situation could lead to some interesting stuff. Also makes me wonder what else is out there in this world if anything and who does keep those wolves who go out of control off the front page and nightly news. Also for the small time we saw them the characters were interesting and compelling. You also flipped perspectives which also added to making it more interesting as well. All of this could be nicely explored amongst other things in a longer piece.
