1 - Reika is a veteran police officer who has an exemplary record, high arrest rates and a number of accolades and distinctions. She has been put up for promotion several times for executive or detective positions but has turned down each one. Reika has a tendency to move around and change departments, but why? At her new post she is assigned a partner, who has dreams of being promoted but feels that he is being held back for reasons that are out of his control. Derrick wants to understand why someone who has everything at their fingertips shuns the very thing that he has worked so hard for that is still out of reach. Reika struggles whether or not to reveal her secret as what she thought she had under control, starts growing again.
2 (Promotion) - Reika realizes that even with her guarded and free-spirited personality that she now craves the normalcy of stable relationships. Her growth has been kicked into overdrive and threatens both her job and her ability to cope with the people close to her. An opportunity for advancement presents itself, but will she be able to stay with Officer Jones in the process?
3 (Acquiescence) - Reika's free spirit and devil may care attitude have caused her to throw caution to the wind and see where her lustful heart and two special lovers will take her. Her growth begins to accelerate forcing her to make changes in how she approaches her duties as a detective and the way she deals with suspects, witnesses and informants. Her results are astounding, but are her methods too over the top?
4 (Sympathy) - Reika's new obsession with meeting and besting Marlin is a test to both her relationship with Fiona and Derrick. Fiona is determined to keep her lover's emotions in check and her mind in a good place as her urges and behavior become unstable and in the mean time puts on weight. Derrick finds out how hard it is to be apart from them both.
5 (Sympathy) - Reika is blown away over the difference in size after meeting Marlin for the first time. She retreats to gather her wits and her resolve and relies on her lovers for comfort. Derrick is glad to be back in to her good graces, but Aisha's arrival threatens the uneasy bonds of the relationship. Both Reika and Aisha need answers and validation and they each turn to the one person they believe that can provide them on the most intimate level.
