Everyone’s heard the story. Little Red Riding Hood goes over to her Grandmother’s house, finds a big bad wolf, blah blah blah. Sure, we got it. But what if I told you that this isn’t the real story? What if I told you that over the generations it’s been toned down and stripped of its real and vicious truths, deemed too pervasive for sensitive children?
Oh, yes. In a horrible twist of fate, this tale of dark happiness has been turned into a stale and generic vanilla bedtime story, when all along it was actually meant as a timeless cautionary story of sexual liberation and dominating freedom. There’s a reason that the big bad wolf has always been remembered, but it’s not for the reasons you think. It’s about time for us to return to the roots of this ageless fable and remember what it’s true meaning is. It’s a legend worth remembering. But, fair warning– it isn’t for the faint of heart. Afterall, it was changed and toned down for a reason.
