So, after the long delay, the
Blu-ray version of the
episodes of
the
Nanoha Vivid series has finally been released yesterday all
together in the packaging of a Blu-ray BOX. As the files have just become
available online today, I've taken a look, and unfortunately,
the
transformation sequence for Vivio and Einhard remain completely unchanged
in terms of the process being covered in flashness.
Yeah, I had a feeling that those flashness weren't a form of censoring and
were just a part of how the transformation sequences were designed to be.
But I just don't see why the Nanoha producers are keep insisting on covering
the AP process in the transformations ever since Nanoha Strikers. They
clearly showed the capability to have AP TF with detailed process through
Hayate's AP TF sequence from
Nanoha A's (
http://process-productions.com/forum...ghlight=nanoha). So
why suddenly become stubborn about not having visible AP process since
Vivio's AP TF sequence from
Nanoha Strikers
(
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xcm...ser_shortfilms)? Not to mention that the
movie version of Nanoha
A's had
Hayate's AP TF sequence from the original anime deleted
as well (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fsXcl4NBICk). Did
they become sensitive about showing nudity? I highly doubt that since the
TF sequences in
Nanoha Vivid series and all the other Nanoha
series have plenty of shots showing nudity whether it's little girls or mature
adults (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NGxrAuhqX3M). Are
they on low budget? Not likely, since the
TF sequences in
Nanoha
Vivid series have some of the best looking visual quality I've seen from
magical girl transformations in anime and are excessively longer than
normal magical transformations. Then, it just comes to the idea that the
producers are either too lazy to animate visible AP process or just don't want
to bother spending budget on animating the details. One of the main unique
traits of the
Nanoha Vivid series is that it features AP magical girls,
and yet I guess the producers just don't appreciate the AP aspect and are
more keen on decorating the transformations.
Anyways, now that it's come down to this, the only hope remaining for the
Nanoha Vivid series is the character named
Fabia Crozelg. For
those of you who don't know her, she is a loli witch character who has
already made an appearance in the
12th episode. She has also
appeared in the
Vivid Strike series as the one who delivers Fuuka her
transformation device in the
5th episode. In the manga, Fabia is the
first main antagonist of the series and performs an
AP TF sequence in
the battle against Vivio and Einhard.
As the 2nd season for the Nanoha
Vivid has been announced for the summer 2017, it is likely to feature
this battle against her as the finale. And if they do, we will be able to see her
animated AP TF sequence.
