I don't see the point in being salty about AI generated art, y'all. It's not going away, and no matter what anyone says, there will always be people who insist it isn't art, and people who will defend its validity to their last breath. Personally, I consider the human inputting the prompts and fine-tuning the results to be akin to a patron or commissioner - and if they take the generated artwork and do post-production and collaging and etc. with it (e.g. MasterMini on DeviantArt -

I mean, I paid for a good friend of mine to paint an image for my upcoming book cover. My original idea, my mental effort, but his hands, his canvas. Patron and artist. How is AI art functionally any different from that?
