This is a slow-shrink novel, so the shrinking process progresses throughout the book.
And if it sounds familiar to some of you, it's because it is. But I've revised the story since its original 2000 posting (on whatever forum I was posting to then), made it a little more mainstream palatable (hopefully), and even added a few new twists.
