And that's true regarding the no comments. I'm actually bad at that since I don't proactively read a lot of other stories. I have to have them recommended (doesn't happen) or for other authors to ask me to read them for fun or thoughts. I'm just picky about my particular kind of fetish so it's hard to explore new stuff.
But, talking to other people that create (and especially authors) I do see a lot of frustrations from people having the same issue - feeling undervalued for spending their time writing.
So the Patreon was a way for me to see if I should continue. I'll keep writing as long as it does okay since it makes it worth it and as long as I'm able to please my patrons.
