Re: mind control, bimbo transformation

Limerick/ederin has done it yet again with The Cum Shot! I continue to be blown away by the prose and personality Limerick brings to his zany worlds by treating them with both humor and sincerity. The best thing about art, especially the ones out of the mainstream, are their capacity for just plain sincere expressions of will: the will to make curvy, fuck-worthy bimbos, in this case. The 'co-workers' and 'small town' elements are continually a winning formula for Limerick, but I'm particularly pleased by how the small changes in your modus operandi changes from story to story.

Tying Kylie's ethnicity into how institutionalized porn genres have become is a simple, but fulfilling jab. Typically you fall back in the tried-and-true Korean girl, but using the Cambodian ethnicity here ties stronger to the wealth of continental Asian porn out there. For a story all about what would happen if the real world was merged with porn it is very central to be able to tie the pre-bimbofied character into the forthcoming porn tag-ification, so I'm very happy with what you did with Kylie. In fact, I was also intrigued by how you delved into the homogenization of the character. 'Asian' is such a generic tag with only the occasional deviation on websites into 'Japanese', so I was impressed by how you lampshaded this by having Kylie lose her identity as 'Cambodian' and think of herself as 'Asian', further re-enforcing this by having her skin complexion change. This is exciting as it exists as an almost 'alternate flavor' of bimbofication. Bravo, my good sir. If I have one complaint about Kylie it was that her name already felt so...bimbo-esque. Then again, I suppose she was already pretty much a bimbo at heart before the transformation commenced, but I always prefer to see that 'name change' element! Objectively-speaking, I think I really just wanted her to take a new and more 'ethnic' name. 'Kylie' is too damned American White Girl Next Door for its own good.

Speaking of names, 'Tessa' sounds like both the most stuck-up and the most unrefined, 'porno name' name I've ever heard and I was thrilled the second her character was introduced. "Yup, she's going to be a fuckin' porn bimbo!" I feel like you could have maybe even taken the pre-bimboficatiom snobbishness further considering her name made the character so ripe for corruption, but alas, you had quite a bit on your plate already.

I also enjoyed how you brought back the use of a prologue/epilogue character to begin and round out the story. It reminded me of Business Casual, one of my favorite of your titles, in how Mr. Rod is there in the beginning and then again at the very end. It's a simple effect that makes the world seem...larger, really. A nostalgic seasoning to make the long-time reader feel like they've come home to a big family reunion for Big Daddy's eightieth birthday or something. Just...thanks. Victor's simple, quiet, matter-of-fact preference for porn sets him a part as a 'smaller' personality than Mr. Rod, but damn it, he was a quaint son of a bitch and for that I salute him.

While I'm at it, I swear I've heard 'Doctor Hardrod' as a name somewhere before. I just can't remember where...

As always, I'm looking forward to your next masterpiece. I'm definitely interested in seeing you play around more and more with transformation outside of straight-up bimbofication. I don't know how you really felt about the gender-bender in AgraRipe, but it definitely had me--as a fan of the subject and your style--interested. I think I'd like to see you delve back into one of your other old subjects and play with family settings again, but that's just me as a fan speaking.

I think I'm going to try to find the time to re-read Retail. I may or may not work in the field, so I'd like to take a look at it and see if anything sounds like a perversion of the sort of thing I actually experience. I love your small, run-down business workplace stories as much as your small, struggling business office stories, so it'll be interesting to sort of dive back into the former. Speaking of which, it just occurred to me that there should be some nice material to get out of another mall story. Watching the Dead Mall series on YouTube has really driven me to think about how well those sights fit the descriptions in some of your works. It really reinvigorates my passion for your work, oddly enough!

Maybe I'll try to get around to working on some of my own ideas for erotic stories...
