They do have contacts. I would've liked ears maybe, but the lack of their usual back fur, tails and paws doesn't bother me as much as they always looked like costume pieces anyway.
Also, the acting is pretty good. The animal girls don't speak, but don't go overboard with the grunting and growling. The tf scene seems to make a really nice compromise between pain & pleasure, fear & arousal.
