You know people argue about the origin. I think had to do with train tickets to the Shore that read - Bayonne, Elizabeth, Newark, and New York. Don't worry. As long as you aren't a loud rude person from north jersey or NY then you aren't a Benny.


But if you are a rude person from Philly who takes their own lunch to the shore, instead of buying food here, then you're a Shoobie.
