Only it's not ever been free, they put up two pages with the rest behind a paywall.

It'd be like comic shoppes saying "yeah, we have some free one-shots and cliffhanger first eds, but there's a $5 cover at the door" which misses the entire point: putting some skin in the game to draw more readers, and with them, increase revenue.

And, yes, I realise it's a risky proposition.
If Frank Miller can do it, so can you.
