I don't know how well this would work over 18 pages, but:
A group of college friends are convinced that the series of grisly murders the school is covering up is the result of an alien disguised as a female student. They try to collect evidence as they are picked up, until finally the two left confront the alien. At this point one of the protagonists reveals that she is also an alien, and a male of her species.
