Idea for a story scenario.

This comic gives me an idea for an scenario for a story or a comic.
What if somebody dumps an drug into the watersupply of a large city that lets only cute girls and young women (lets say 16 to 30 years) grow? And that they grow gigger the more water they had contact with? (skin contact counts too). That would be so awesome!

Hmm, it has potential. But how do you make a drug that only affects attractive females and not just everyone within the age group of 16-30 regardless of appearance? Maybe just release the drug at a certain place at a certain time so that only a specific predetermined and particularly attractive group will be affected?

Maybe there is a special hormone in young attractive women that triggers the growth in combination with the growth agent?

Heyhey, I am a man of vision, of ideas. I just gave you people a great scenario to work with! I would do something like that meself, but I?m tangled up with projects.

Heh, yeah the hormone that causes women to be attractive triggers it. I'll pretend that makes sense.

C?mon, be honest. 95% of the usual GTS stories and comics make less sense.

Well, no denying that. So we just throw in some guy in a lab coat to claim they discovered the "hotness gene" and that's what the formula reacts so. Done deal.

He's got a point there. EDIT: And since when does anyone question the science of these stories? Even the best-written and most scientifically plausible stories ignore one important fact: technically, once a person grew bigger than twelve to fifteen feet, their own muscles couldn't move their body, and after more growth their bones would snap like twigs. But nobody questions that, so...

One could always go the route of, for example, the "Big New World" comics from E.L. Publications--that is, whatever makes them grow also beautifies them. As far as age, it could simply not work on the body chemistry of a post-menopause woman.

I actually thought of an idea somewhat similar to this, except it was an SW story as that's my number-one. I dunno, al, I might take a crack at this if I can get my laptop working...

make it a combination effect. the water supply additive isn't enough until a person is also exposed to 'X.' Which is under more precise control.

An individual may target women that meet his standards, slipping things in their drinks or something, although that would be a lot of legwork.

Maybe a cosmetics company organizes regular beauty contests at local colleges. They provide free makeup for the participants. A mad genius/evil scientist who works for the company salts a certain percentage of the monthly offerings with an additive that, when combined with what's in the water supply, makes the woman grow.
I think that would be pretty close to an age specific demographic, and at least comely.
