What I saw had nothing to do with tenchi, apart from having this look-a-like in it. That's really really fuckin sad that the series degraded into generic mech combat. Next I'll hear it's got monster card battles and talking cars.

Yeah, agreed. The pink haired one's too slutty for my taste, and the hair is kinda ew to me. Eh.

This story takes place 15 years after tenchi muyo GXP which itself takes place 4(ish) years after Tenchi Muyo OVA 3. (which makes tenchi nearing his 30's while still looking 18 after all his sister is 80 and looks amazing)

Kenshi gets transported from the earth where he family is by washu to this world where it turns out he is mega good pilot of the ships called Seikijin. thats about the jest of the info that won't give away the story
