Good news, bad news and some growth art

Bad news first. Some of you have heard about my recent medical problems including a major surgery and follow up treatments for cancer. Right now things are under control, but the doctor doesnt want me to overdo it. By overdo he means working 16 hour days like I used to.

Why did I work 16 hour days? Because I spent a great deal of time on each image with my 3D comics. I did research, contacted the top 3D content creators to specifically make many of the models and celebrities that I used in the comics(and they eventually added the models to their stores), and spent many an hour finding the best post work methods to vastly improve my images.

The problem with this is it obviously was not good for my health, and not fair to my wife. So with illlustrated comics, the creation process is taken off my shoulders and I can do less taxing hours and spend more time with her. This is why I decided to not continue making 3D comics...

Now the good news. I don't want those stories to end where I left them. I want to continue those comics stories. So I decided I will continue the comics in illustrated comic format. To start things off I have a sample image of page 1 Growing Circle 3 currently in production attached. I've got an incredibly talented penciller working on it. It picks up right where Growing Circle 2 ended, in fact the night before to include that sexy growth sequence with Lisa.

One last thing, Thar BE GTS really needs support, or else we won't be seeing the further adventures of those sexy pirate girls.

I thought for a moment that the bad news would be you weren't going to be producing ANYTHING for a while or something. While i will miss your stellar 3D renders, at least we got what we did and you're not leaving the stories to collect dust.

You do what you've gotta do, Z. If you don't have your health you don't have anything. Looking forward to Growing Circle 3 (and maybe more Unequalizer and Juicy Boom Pills!) XD

A sound decision, and as far as bad news go, it's far from the worse I've heard. I'm glad its not about your health. I have to say I'm a little jealous of you, you were able to do what I wanted to try a couple years back. Unfortunately I did not have your drive and I realized how much time it would consume to make all my 3D stuff to a quality I could sell without feeling like I ripped people off.

You have a really good thing going on IMO, the comics are quality stuff for a really low price, and that's why I buy them all, quality work should be encouraged. If you compare with a lot of other places and comics, it's hard to find better. So more power to you my friend, your 3D stuff will be missed for sure, but we still get really nice comics nonetheless.

Now back to my 3D work I go, inspiration is plentiful these days

I am new here but your work from what I have seen is very inspiring. I hope your health improves as your comics look amazing. They have inspired me to try and take my sfx videos to a level that can match what you have done with comics.
