What's going on with the Minimizer forum?

I haven't visited the site for a while and I can't log in. I asked them to send me my password via e-mail, but they have no record of my email address. So I signed up for a new account and haven't received the activation email necessary to access the site. Is it down again? Is Min still around?

I tried to register over a year ago and again 6 months ago. Never heard back either time.

I still see traffic coming to my store from the forum so I know that people are there, but I think the mechanism for getting a new password has been broken for years now.

It is running, but they have been having tech problems for some time - PMs and changing avatars don't work. I guess you can't start a new account either.

Same I can't log in with my old account. I have emailed the admins. Few times and tried to create new accounts. I haven't been able to get on in almost a year.

Tried to get a new account a year or so ago, since they reset their registrations like five friggin' times. Never heard back from them. After a while I just said "fuck it" and didn't bother again.

It has two problems that have been going on for months:
1) The User Control Panel is broken, so PMs, avatars, signatures, etc. don't work.
2) The admins are asleep at the fucking wheel and haven't fixed that issue nor been around to authorize new users.

I just saw a post from Minimizer himself last week so I really don't know what the fuck is going on, but it sucks.

I had the login problem only when I use a different PC, Smartphone, ...

The following instructions have solved my problem:

1. I typed in my existing login and password
2. Then came "Click to proceed", so I clicked on it
3. I'm not sure but either got an error message or I ended up back at the login
4. Back at the login screen, again I typed in my existing login and password
5. When step 3 is reapeated, I opened the link http://www.the-minimizer.com/forum_3/ again
6. I was logged in!

Yeah, I tried to join as it seems to be the only place to find most of scidram's old stories (particularly The Shrunken DA), but no response.

Right now, I don't think anyone is sure what is going on with Min's forum. However, a couple regulars of Min's have set up their own forum, SW Realm. It's very similar to Min's forum by design, and it just opened up!
