Rules Ressurrected!

Seeing how the rules have mysteriously disappeared, I shall boldy creay new ones!





Rule 1
THOU SHALT UPHOLD QUALITY OVER QUANTITY!
This is both a literary and a visual website, so try and make sure both are honored.
Such as, a picture should be clear(as in, not a blurry 50x50 thumbnail), and all the writing must be done to such a degree that it's legible and coherent.

Rule 2
THOU SHALT SHOW PROCESS!
This place is called the Process for a reason.
So at least draw/post something that has some form of process, or in the middle of said process.
Or at the very a before-after(but for the love of all that is, make sure the character looks the same as the first one, and not some completely other image)

Rule 3
THOU SHALT SEARCH BEFORE YOU POST!
Really, this is one of the most annoying things new members do.

Rule 4
THOU SHALT POST ONLY FEMALES!
This is a forum of mostly men, and I think a few lesbians(You never know on the net).
The only exception is the TG area, that's no-man's land.

Rule 5
THOU SHALT BE OF AGE WHEN POSTING!
This is an adult oriented website, so please, if your going to post Wait until your 18.

Rule 6
THOU SHALT NOT ACT BELOW THE REQUIRED MENTAL STATE!
As in, don't act like a hormonal little wangsty brat.
Or like any of our infamous stupid members such as (names removed for the idiot protection agency)

Rule 7
THOU SHALT NOT MULTI-POST!
This means, tons of different posts that are the basically the same.
A common problem in the art-request area.

Rule 8
THOU SHALT NOT MAKE A CATCH-PHRASE!
They're just annoying.

Rule 9
THOU SHALT NOT USE A REQUEST THREAD MADE BY SOMEONE ELSE TO BEG FOR SOMETHING FOR YOU!
This is excluding when the artist creates the thread, and has stated that s/he will draw what someone requests.

Rule 10
THOU SHALT POST REFERENCE IMAGES WHENEVER NEEDED!
Oh, and make sure the links work, and are not just a dead one, or one of those ones that redirect you to a block-image.

Rule 1: Posting of a lower quality image usually means there is a higher quality out there in which could be found. If those lower quality versions are the only versions out there, we wouldn't look for a higher quality.

Rule 2: If the image is actually process and gives the hint of process, it is good.

We should let people know that they can delete their double posting instead of apologizing for the double post. Oh and the fact that they can delete their own threads.

Since searches don't always uncover what a person is looking for. Perhaps a set of stickies with a list of links, one for videos and ACTIVE related website links, and a gallery of "found" images. This would also have the benefit of making viewing these materials easier and less time consuming. Members art work would be able to be posted in the usual manner, free to be encouraged and commented upon.

Replies would be prohibited from these threads. No Cheers and No Jeers, If a member knows the attribution of a "unknown artist" work that person could private message the initial poster and through editing of the original post update the attribution so that duplicate works and a better accounting of images could be obtained.

Gallery posters would be required to fill the attachments, before starting a new entry. Thus having fewer pages to search through.

The 10 attachment limit per post appears to have been raised, too. I remember seeing a post with an ungodly number of attached images. Didn't count, though.

Generally, I think the rules can be dumbed down a bit more.

Process or implied process only. I.E. breasts growing or grew, not just big breasts.
For the love of God, SEARCH.
When posting in a forum's Request thread, please at least try searching yourself first?
