Paradise

Eve thought something was wrong with the island, but she didn't care. She was safe.
Eve had just gone through one of the most terrifying moments of her life. She survived a ship wreck and washed up on some seemingly uninhabited island. No one around, and no idea where she was. Stranded. But alive.
She received an odd vibe from the island. Something wasn't right about it all. But she had no time to think about these things. Her mind was busy trying to cope with the situation.
She first cried for a long while. She then came to reason that this wasn't getting her anywhere. She had to stop moping and get to surviving. Unfortunately, she had no real idea what to do nor had she had any survival training. Only a few months of girl-scouts. So she drew upon the knowledge she learned from movies. She started placing large rocks all over the beach. First she made an "S". Nest she formed a lopsided "O" followed by another "S." She figured this would get the attention of any rescue teams, had any learned of the wreck and assuming she was in the search zone.
Eve's stomach began to growl. She was to caught up in trying to get rescued that she had forgotten the most important rule television taught her about survival: find food and water. She never noticed while building her signal, but she had been getting progressively thirstier and hungrier as the day wore on. She had to find something to eat and some fresh water! She looked along the back of the beach. There was a rather large tree with some fruit barely hanging on to its branches. Perfect. Food and some water.
It took her a few tries, but she finally was able to knock one piece of fruit down by throwing rocks. And it seemed she only needed one. The fruit was abnormally large and looked about the size of a melon. Eve hungrily broke it open and devoured the inside.
While chowing down, she finally took a good look around the beachfront. The beach was normal, but all the vegetation was thick and very tall. In fact, the fruit tree she was sitting under was actually small for most of the other trees around her. She only thought of it for a second before returning to her meal.
Evening was approaching, so she decided to try and start a fire. It took her a few hours, but eventually she had make a small blaze on the beach. She took a few more fruit and ate one for her supper before falling asleep on the beach.
Eve woke up in the morning feeling more energized than she thought she would be. After spending a the rest of the morning on the beach, she figured help wasn't coming anytime soon. She needed to look out for herself and find a better place to call her temporary home. Someplace with water. Fruit wasn't doing it enough for her. She knocked down some more fruit for the journey. However it was proving difficult trying to carry four or five melon-like fruit with only her one arm, as the other was being used to brush away plants in her way. Her shirt was giving her problems as well. It felt tighter, and all the sand and salt from the beach made it uncomfortable to wear. She opted to take it off and use it as a makeshift bag. She would be fine in just her bra and shorts.
After a while, she found a trickle of a stream. Eve jumped for joy and started tracking the water to its source. Another hour yielded the discovery of a small lake. She jumped in the water laughing and took a big long drink. It was so refreshing and cool! And...sweet? It had a unique flavor. She celebrated by unpacking a melon for lunch. after she ate, she took off her shorts and dove into the water. She splashed and kicked around for a good two hours. She finally got out and found a spot to dry off and make a fire, which took longer because she was wet. after another melon was eaten she washed her shirt and shorts down the stream a ways. She was surprised that they were both way to tight for comfort after they dried. Oh well. she could use another bad to hold more food. She gathered a few berries from around the bushes around the pool and ate a few before going to sleep.
Eve woke up to the sound of a bird. Not a small bird. This one was belting it out. Eve grumbled and sat up. Wow. It really was a big, fat bird. In fact there were several big birds she could see. There wasn't a single small one in sight. Weird.
She set up a small living quarter under another big tree. If it would ever rain, the tree would provide excellent cover. And it was next to the lake. She decided to take a morning dip. She cooled in the water and had a few sips before going to get her breakfast, AKA the melons in her shirt. Once she got there she let out a small gasp. The fruit was smaller! it must have shriveled up! Upon closer inspection, she noticed her shirt was smaller. She looked around. Everything was smaller! She stopped a second and thought. She then looked at herself. She hadn't really noticed, but after her swim, her undergarments were hugging her tightly. She had gotten bigger! But how?
She reflected on the past couple of days. All she did was make a signal, eat some fruit, and drink some water. And swim in said water. She looked at the fruit. After she ate some on the first day, her shirt had felt tighter. That was precisely why it was a melon-holder and not her current attire. But it still didn't explain why she grew several inches just before breakfast. It had to be the water. Then why did the fruit make her grow?
Maybe the plant that made the fruit sucked up some of the water from the lake! That had to be it! That was why the plants and animals were bigger than normal!
Eve decided to test this theory. She ran to the pool and took a big swig of water. She then stood up and examined herself. There wasn't to much of a difference at first, but then she felt her bra dig in deeper into her chest. She giggled shortly before taking another gigantic gulp. This time the growth was obvious, because the bra just decided to snap under the pressure of her growing cleavage. Another gulp rendered her panties scrap cloth.
She marveled at her new found discovery. She took a few more sips and ran back to her dwelling under the tree. She could reach halfway up now if she wanted. This made Eve smile. If only the people back home could see this. She downed a few melons for breakfast and decided to explore around her more. Before the island was a nightmare, but now it seemed like its own kind of exotic wonderland. She waved at birds that used to be rather big. They looked at her funny before squawking and flying away. This made her laugh.
By noon she was just about as tall as some of the smaller trees around her. She had forgotten all of her troubles. If she wanted something to eat, she just took a couple of the now small fruit from the tree and ate them. If she needed something to drink, she was a few minutes away from the stream. She was not only safe now, but she was happy.


After a few more days, Eve was taller than the trees. During one sunset she found herself in a slight valley. She sat down and looked out to the sea. She would have to go back, sometime. Maybe when she was bigger she could swim back. Would she want to? What would people think of her? Would she ever be as happy as she was on the island?
She decided not to think about it as she relaxed in her spot. She didn't have to go right away. After all, she could spend a little while longer in paradise. Just a while longer...
Then she drifted to sleep...

I agree. The scenario seems a little more interesting than most of the works I've seen contributed on this board. I hope Dr.Jelly considers continuing this work.
