Sizes, Weights, and Capacity

Hey,

I'm looking to figure out how to work out the weights and capacity of breasts at different sizes. It's part of the information gathering phase for a game I'm trying to get going. The game will be mostly text driven so I'd like to go into details and the like.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Sizes, Weights, and Capacity

Something I dug up that may help you out.

Please note, I did not write this.

Quote:
Fact A: If the volume of an object is doubled, its mass is cubed.

Fact B: A gallon (3,785.41 cm^2) of water weighs 8 pounds ( 2.99 kg) and produces a force of 37.85 psi, while the atmosphere at sea level generates approx 14.70 psi.

Fact C: The tensile strength of human skin is 1600gm/mm^2 or 2767.74 pounds/inch^2

Thusly: the maximum a person could contain in their breasts without bursting is 146 gallons (73 gallons x2), which would weigh 1168 lbs and each breast would be approx 24 feet in diameter! That?s 584lbs per breast! (This does not take into account the variances in pressure or the atmosphere or the varying density of the actual material, as this is intended as a kind of ?rule of thumb? for DMs. Maybe we should call it a ?Maximum Safe Size? after which the odds of exploding start really climbing.) To move normally, a person would have to have Str 36 to move normally! (This explains why it?s always the fighter who?s stacked!)

Note: All sizes given in this section are based on a medium creature. Please scale sizes and weights to the creature in question. A fairy could not have 12 foot in diameter breasts without a great deal of magic, nor would a frost giant be likely to burst from having ?mere? 24 foot in diameter breasts.

Re: Sizes, Weights, and Capacity

What a weird way to get physics into this, ahahahaha..

Man that's a neat way to get into it though. Of course, they say nothing about the nerves and veins and whatnot hidden in the flesh. Much less the mammary glands/ducts themselves.

Of course, if we wanted realism, we wouldn't be delving -THAT- deep into this thing.

Isn't it funny that we have such a suspension of disbelief about breasts?

Re: Sizes, Weights, and Capacity

I'm still a VERY far way away from completing it, but here is a small teaser.

You need Java 1.6 installed. It works as thus:

You enter commands in the bottom text box, usually in the format "<command> <target>"

The commands are: look, get, drink, and stat.
Blue text will later mark doors, green text marks items. You use the coloured part for the targets

Walthrough:
look
get brown
drink brown

You can type "stat' in between to see your character's stats.
And you can type "grow" to make your breasts grow, although it is more a cheat, and doesn't doe much except change the "stat" description.

I'm probably gonna ask someone for art later to replace the Cyan bit, but that's only if it's worth going ahead with.

It's gonna be a puzzle game where you use BE, GTS, AP, and the like to solve puzzles.

Watcha think?

Re: Sizes, Weights, and Capacity

Something I think a lot of people overlook is that the difference in mass between an A and a B cup is a lot less than the difference between a B and a C, or a C and a D. It's not just an inch greater of measurement, it's an exponential volume increase.

Re: Sizes, Weights, and Capacity

I'd like a command log (accessible via up and down) so I don't need to type every command every time.

Also, a 'use' command is much more user-friendly than 'drink,' 'turn on,' 'turn off,' etc. I assume someone in that position would know how to use each item.
