Life
I am sure that like me, most people question life. And unfortunately this thread will most likely go nowhere with either jokes or conflicting peoples feeling the need to bicker. Anyways, here goes.
I have always been trying to figure out the big questions. Religions aside, I have very weak ideas on how this world works and the value of each person. I mean there are billions of people in this world, is there such things as a person with no value? Can they hold no purpose or hold no benefit in this world? I live in the middleground on most debates because I'm afraid of both holding no merit. There is always a flaw in something, do we ignore them if we can't control them? I support abortion in the aspect of situations. But at the same time that child sometimes has a concious. Do we ignore that? Then there is the issue of the intelligence factor. If somebody is not as smart as somebody else, are they less valuable? Do they deserve less less chances than the person that is given the smarts? Is it honestly fair considering some peoples upbringing and how it determines the rest of their lives. I have a kid in my school who in 5 years will get 1 million dollars out of his savings and another 5 mill in ten. He doesn't care about school and goes out and drinks himself practically dead. I work my ass off and haven't touched a drop. Where's the justice? He's gonna live/inherit a life of luxury and im gonna have to work my ass off to get anything. My family is just above poverty level, and it's unfair! We barely got this computer when he owns a fucking Ferrari ![]() I just want to know why things seem so unfair and what our lives really mean. (Sorry if I was ranting, I feel touchy about that situation)

Re: Life
An idiot, with enough spirit, will defeat any genius.
Consider yourself without spirit, since I can assure you justice would not come by moaning on a fetish forum. |

Re: Life
Most abortions are preformed before the development of the brain is far enough that they would likely have a conscious. The exceptions occur when either the baby and mother are unlikely to survive.

Re: Life
Life's rarely "fair", my friend, but it really comes down to how you look at it and what you wish to do to tip it in your favor.
Sure this buy you know has inherited a huge wad of cash, but how do you think he was able to acquire it? Sure, he may not have done much to gain his newfound wealth, but someone had to have put it there. Somewhere down the line, someone had set this aside for one reason or another (inheritance for the future?), but the fact remains the same. Some people are born into poverty, others a life of luxury. People have many friends, while others have none. Yes, the world (more or less) sucks. There's no getting around that. Now that you know that, what are you going to do about it? |

But on a serious note, life has no bias. It can neither be fair nor just. IT is what it is an that's all it can be. I'm sure it's nto the answer you're hoping to find, but it's all there is. MY personal view (all opinion btw) is that you can either bitch abotu what isn't fair, or you can save the effort adn let life happen. Use the energy on something more productive. Is that to say that one should jsut lay down and let life roll you? No, just know when to pick your battles with life. Never compare yourself to anyone else, as no two people are truly comparable. Instead, compare youself to the person you were the day before, a week before, one year before, and see what you've become since for better or for worse. If things are not satisfactory, then do what you can to change where you are. There are thing you yourself may never be able to reach, or may be too far from reaching to see, such as the situation of the person you mentioned in your post. You may never even reach the million dollar mark, but that doesn't mean you can't take steps to make sure your life moves forward. In fact, it already sounds like you're well on your way in buildign that foundation with all hte hard work you're doing. Think of it this way: one day that "lucky" person will find themselves with no real skills, failign in this world while you surpass him. Some people peak early in life while the others, who put in real effort, will slowly but steadily continue to rise throughout their lives. and now I think I'm jsut rambling, so I'm goign to go and get some water.

Re: Life
No but being heard or physically expressing myself allows me to feel more secure/calm with no penting it up inside. And the people I interact with here don't quite like to think hard let alone talk about anything beyond tractors and corn (FML). I enjoy bouncing ideas/feelings off the board, the have more intellectual depth and if I feel distressed/angered, I can simply leave and not have to deal with you or whoever else I don't want to. In a sense, this community allows me more control in the way I conduct matters (mental questions, desires to debate).
