Both PoVs, Kyosuke can use hypnosis hence he doesn't need to shapeshift, unlike Hanae who has to dress to fit each each person she copies. In the manga Kyosuke appears briefly inside B.A.B.E.L. "disguised" as Naomi, in the anime is Oboro instead, but he appears as her on the Special Supplement "non-sense".

Sadly the anime was reformatted, ranging from minor to major changes, some even hint censoring.

If it's silver hair wait until Fujiko appears, the manga goes crazy then, she doesn't know how to behave at all (a bad influence in someways). The anime will need more episodes to introduce her, but if there is something Ecchi can accomplish, that's introducing a character much earlier just to please with fanservice. Mio should appear anytime soon, she is first along Takashi, but later pairs with Okama, she is introduced first in the manga, but not in the anime.

Well, from the sounds of it the anime is going to stop at episode 52, so that may be part of the reason for the changes. I know Kekkaishi and a couple of other recent Shonen Sunday anime were formatted differently because they had to stop at 52 themselves.

That's not it, the anime skipped the main event to not spoil manga, even though Kyosuke gives a few hints. I am refering to the anime being toned down means of violence, cruelty, sadism and/or gore (1)[see GS Mikami], and either hide or changed many facts on purpose, blood is still missing which is already a trouble if the anime follows the manga. While the character desing is 1:1 the expressions are different, mainly Kouichi's is changed drastically, his expressions were much more exaggerated and hilarius (similar to GSM / Yokoshima), the rest of the characters as well. I could go into the exact details episode by episode but it would too long. Ookama is also changed, the anime contradicts his own skills on the first episode.
