Anger and disappointment for me.

Was trying to get a commission from Locofuria.

We agreed on the terms of 15 pages for $90. (Pretty damn cheap!)
When I asked him for paypal info, he emailed me back saying he checked, and cant accept paypal. He lives in Peru, which apparently has almost no tech infrastructure or online banking, shopping, etc. He suggested Western Union. I said fine. After poking thier website for a bit, I saw they charge $20 for each transfer, regardless or amount. Since I was sending 2 payments, half now, half later, the fee alone was 50% of the cost of the commission. Talking to him a bit, he agreed to settle down to $80, that way I can sent one payment and save myself $20. Western Union told me I had to call them and answer some questions. Calling, they had me repeat all the info I had allready entered, asking for his name, info, my address, his address (I didnt know), etc.
After a few minutes, they told me the transfer wouldnt clear. She said that my "credit card info did not meet with Western Unions Standards". I asked why, but she had no idea. No piccies for me.

Anyone else have a simillar experience?

I was going to pay a comission by Western Union and they wanted $30.00. It is an expensive way to send money.

You may be able to send an international money order from the Post Office. Your bank might also be able to wire the money.

You would think this would all be easier and cheaper!
