Tropical storm

Tropical Storm heading my way, and I may loose connection. And seeing how one of my most effective fetishes involves storms, especially thunderstorms, I may feel a compulsion to do something stupid that may leave me injured, dead, or (even worse) in Dallas.

Most likely nothing will happen.

Re: Tropical storm

Do not hump the rain. I know it's wet and wild, but please keep it in your pants this time. Also stop calling it a "lightning rod". It won't be as amusing when it's burnt off.

(this post has no seriousness in it)

Someone once said "levity is the soul of wit". Somebody before that person said that "brevity is the soul of wit". I once said "deprevity is the soul of wit". (I said it a couple seconds before posting this thread)

Your post contains much needed wit in accordance with all of these pithy parables.

Re: Tropical storm

Update: No weather yet, but I have decided that the meterologist is incompetent. He refered to Galvezton and Houston as being part of south central Texas, when they are actually part of southeast texas. The difference is not only in the fact that they are on the eastern third of the coast, they are also culturally and environmentally distinct from south central texas. SC texas is prarie land, SE Texas is swamp land. You have a strong cajun and creole influence in SE Texas which is quite lacking in SC texas. SE texas is in the south east of Texas.

Re: Tropical storm

I am considerably concerned about my comrade, HOB.

On another note, I've never been in a place that ran out of weather. But, I don't think you should take Spazi-Girl's weather, since her location is clearly low on oxygen. High alps, perhaps. Certainly high on something.

Also, my weather man is very accurate. He predicted periods of light today followed by large patches of darkness tonight. Got it right on target.

;-)
