This is a bit scary.

Google GMail Privacy

I ain't using gmail or chrome! I don't think I'll even send anything to a gmail account.

Re: Google Privacy Concerns?

Jesus fuck, these people are paranoid. because obviously you're SO important that someone is sitting there between you and google on your network and reading all your mail that gets auto saved. Because, you know, they couldn't just install a desktop viewer and watch you type it. or stand behind you when you do.Workplaces are not private. and if your home network is compromised, you're screwed anyway, gmail or no.

Paranoia is just thinly veiled egomania.

Well, this just means that I shouldn't use GMail at work.

Seems a bit overly panicky from the vidmakers.
(Although i admit I only watched the first part about autosaving drafts.
Hello....simple solution you have control over = not making drafts in compose window, but simply on your pc in idunno notepad or w/e. When done copy/paste into gmail and send).
Or ditch gmail and get a real webmail server.

Or just don't give a shit. Everytime you send an e-mail, that exact thing happens anyway. It only applies here if you never intend to send it, and instead leave it in draft forever.

Ah screw 'em. I use what I like and like what I use. If you don't do anything wrong AT wrok, they can't do anything AT THE JOB to you for things you type OFF THE CLOCK.

Jsut don't be stupid AT work, and nothings wrong. Then again, I don't care one way or the other. I am who I am, and work (or most people) can deal.
