Heh, yeah. Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends actually has some surprising inside-jokes going on that most of its fanbase will easily gloss over.
My favorite of which has to be the episode where a few of them steal the Foster's bus, if I remember right. Bleu tries to throw change into a toll booth while they careen through it at high-speed. Cue the slow motion shot of the change floating through the air, until it hits the closed window and they just bust through the toll booth gate. At which point, Bleu drops a classic Star Wars line: "Negative, didn't go in. 'Just impacted on the side..." I guess you had to be there.
