I think her sister, Ume, has a similar AR but as an attack. I haven't played the game for a few years. But I think she regresses and you can play as her younger form for a little while.

Otane and Oume have both always been able to AR themselves by kissing their opponent. Otane and Oume were twin sisters in Goketsuji Ichizoku (Goketsuji Family), known as Power Instinct in the U.S. and the video game series in general had a lot of transformations, but it was unplayable on Sega- given the CD load times, transformations were painfully slow and load-lagged. *sigh*

The original character designs were nice though- they were done by Range Murata, who also did designs for the anime series Blue Submarine #6 and Last Exile.
