Here's a Bronze Age comic in which Batgirl battles Lady Viper, a woman who can turn into a half-human, half-snake, and manages to turn Batgirl into one too. In the end, Lady Viper stays in her snake form for too long and becomes a full snake. She was oncccce a woman.
