New TF artist...

...With a prefference for female werecreatures(but not minding some of the more unusual species).

Basically, having just gotten an account authorized here, I thought I'd showcase some of my own TF artwork(being a recent artist in the genre) here, starting with a link to my gallery:

http://www.furaffinity.net/user/fringedog/

There isn't that much right now, but I am hoping that this increase as time(and hopefully request and commissions) go.

More about me:
The nick's fringedog.
Though I've been an artist for a fair while, I've recently decided to create myself a new gallery to try to add TF to my curriculum due to some interest in the art style and genre.
Suffering a bit from the starving artist syndrom(we seems to be a fair amount lately...), I thought I also start showcasing some of my artwork for those interested in requesting or commissioning pictures from me.

Re: New TF artist...

Thanks!

I'll admit it is my hope to be commissioned to make such pictures at some point. The money, in my current state, would be most welcome.

Re: New TF artist...

Are you open to sequences?

Any preferences beyond "were" creatures...will you draw straight TF-type sequences?

http://www.process-productions.com/f...tf+commissions (for references to what I might be asking for ;p)

Not saying that I'm necessarily able to commission anything right at the moment, but thinking towards the near future.

Re: New TF artist...

It depends. As seen in my gallery, I can do sequence(I guess pretty much any TF artists knows those tends to be where the most "money" is at).

I do have to admits that my preferences goes to "were" types of sequence or from human to animal, in great deal from practices.
Especially from furaffinity, despite it being the place(after transfur) where one would normally expects the most of such sequences from, straight "werecreatures"(no matter the species) and human to animal/anthro TF sequences is something I find somehow starting to be lacking nowdays(seriously, on furaffinity, there's times where there seemed to be more furries-to-cocks TFs than there were human-to-furry/were or even furry-to-were TFs in the adult transformation section... >_> ).

Otherwise, like said, though I like "weres" type, I can pretty much do straight animal/furry TF.

I love your style! I'll be sure to keep an eye out for your work.

Edit: I liked the displacer beast sequence. I've always thought that the D&D monster manuals (or any sci-fi/fantasy game bestiary, for that matter) were good sources for tf ideas.

Thanks.

And yes, I feel myself displacer beast is something there is all too little female TFs of.

Re: New TF artist...

I actually have, I'll admit. That gallery was actually a trial gallery to test how TF work by my hand would be received. It's after this test that I decided to try something more "official" in that regard.

I actually have a non-TF/furry stuff account, but I prefer to keep those separated for various reasons(the least being the field of studies I am in one where I could get in troubles if it is known I have done adult furry or TF art. I won't say much more than that however, I hope you can understand).

I really like the were-ferret and were-rat ones. Can't wait to see more of the like!

Re: New TF artist...

Thank you.

I have to admit they seemed to have been some of my more favored TF pics. I am actually planning to try to do a bit more in that regard in the near future. I actually try to avoid too "common" species under the suggestion of a friend who mentioned how much the demand for some species sometimes actually outweigh the offer.

Re: New TF artist...

That's actually a very good idea, to focus on more esoteric or uncommon species - it's creative and will be appreciated all the more!
Although with my love fore mustelids, I may be somewhat biased in their favour. Ah well, it's impossible to have a truly unbiased opinion.
