I could never get that working right on my system. The models would appear just fine, but they wouldn't move at all, which made the resulting scenes rather hard to follow.

Click Character Select and you'll get an error message. There's a file in the scripts directory that's named in Japanese, and Windows won't find it unless it's running in Japanese language mode. AppLocale will also suffice, if you've already installed Japanese language support.

As for the game, there's only the above sizes. It's not a dynamic configuration, although I suppose you could figure out the format for the models file (the one that requires Japanese support) and edit it to taste. The "jiggling" is pretty excessive as well.

The user Taruby posted a guide in the forum on how to do this, if you feel up to it. It involves installing some new components in Windows XP, and learning an application. And it won't magically turn a game with Japanese text into English. I've found trying to tell people how to do this sort of thing quickly becomes two things:
- Repetative, because people won't go back and see if their question was already answered
- Excrutiating, because of the above, and because some people need you to hold their hand and tell them "now click the button that says 'En ee ex tee.' Now click the button that says 'Oh Kay'. Now push the button on the right side of your mouse. No billy, that's the left side."

So, due to those facts, the solution shall become something you have to figure out and earn, making you an overall better person in the process. It's actually not hard, it's just that... some people absolutely refuse to "get it."
