Chlorophyll - Jollyjack
You can buy it here.
http://www.collectedcurios.com/apsara Sneak peak here. http://jollyjack.deviantart.com/art/...hyll-156262427 My advice : Good points : the coloring is really well done on this one. It's extremely enjoyable. Really. Bad points : even though the style is still really good, quality still falls. No real story. No text nor text bubbles. If you're after sexual sensation here, buy it. Else, pass it. Or if you enjoy good color work like me, buy it, but don't expect more. Xtrem note : 4/10 (which is way better than the last ones lol)

Besides... it's kind of hard to add an interesting story to something that is just aboutt he fetish ya know. What would of given this a 10/10 to you? ( I had to say something.... cuz I would of given it a 7 or an 8 despite the fact that I haven't seen the whole sequence, just the sample which seems to convey enough information to me to judge it on your scale.) :P |

And now-a-days its usually hard to judge things by samples, as those are usually the BEST part of it anyways... tricking you into thinking theres more like that. Not that I have any idea what Jollyjack's paid work is like... as I haven't bought any.

Re: Chlorophyll - Jollyjack
Well, atmosphere was the strong point of JJ at first. Now, he's totally losing it. He's the one who's proved that you can add atmosphere to fetish material AND that doing work only for money kills the art. For the last statement, I know at least 2 artists who thinks that he doesn't care anymore for his customers and that he's just after money.
10/10 ? First, I'm bored of the sexual action. He should at least remember how he did at first without that. Second, it missed fun. Like small jokes, funny situations, etc... Finally, does JJ remember how to draw girl with curves without drawing huge GTS monsters with tiny heads ? That last one is the thought of a friend, and I agree a bit on that one.

Re: Chlorophyll - Jollyjack
8 out of 10.
I admit that a tad bit more story to his pieces be nice though technically the story is there. Gardener gardening in her garden when one of her plants decides to take up root in her. Thats the story. Is it a well thought out one, not really. But the sequence is nice. And what's wrong with the way Jolly draws his girls? Its part of how he draws his girls that makes it so entertaining to go and buy these when they come along. Mind you, more dragons and reptiles be cool. I'd even settle for fish. But his furries aren't bad ether. ^^ |

Just noting what displeases me and others. Now, I can understand that other people may find that appealing.
That doesn't erase the fact that he can draw WAY better apsara works, and as I stated earlier, just look at his DA gallery.

Oh I know that much. My favorite piece of his is his Go Go Gecko piece from way back. The body stayed mostly in preportion with that, if the tongue got a little bit out of control. XD

Re: Chlorophyll - Jollyjack
"Boobs grow humongous" doesn't really need that much thought outside of what the theme is going to be. If you want a fetish sequence with a story, that's what BE Story Club and Giantess Club are for. Expecting an independent artist to sway to the demands of the people who purchase his work is like asking the tides to rise. It's not going to happen.
And I refuse to slap a rating scale on this, because it's always a pleasure to see good, decent art, no matter where it comes from, or how much I have to pay for it. I mean, Jesus H. Christ; it's a job he enjoys doing. I don't see how anyone has a right to complain when you chose to pay for it in the first place. And it's only a couple of bucks, too. |

Re: Chlorophyll - Jollyjack
Out of saying he's "great" or "doing his best", can't you be a bit more constructive ? Who knows, you might convince me, even if I doubt it highly.
Because just being a fanatic like wolfman won't do much good to your arguments.
