Movie with plant/vine growth?
I remember seeing a clip from a movie a long time ago that featured a girl laying in bed. All of a sudden her shirt starts to rip open and vines begin growing out of her. I have been searching for hours and have turned up nothing
 As best I can remember, it looked like a late 80's early 90's type horror movie. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance!

I think you're thinking of Species.
It segued to cocooning her and transforming Michelle Williams into Natasha Henstridge.

That sounds more like one of the "birth" scenes from Species and not the alien transformation with the cocoon.

are u sure your not talking about a scene from night of the scarecrow. i seem to recall a scene very similer to that..i think it was made in like 1995

Yanno, compared to most movies of that variety I see, that was actually pretty good, even before the vine bits. They actually had character development and growth/decay. My pants are shat. |

It's based off the book, and the actors even read the book and cared about trying to bring the book to life as best as possible.
