This is a topic that has floundered several times on this forum, but I would like to give it another shot. As the title implies it is bringing BE into the realm of D&D;be it just for the fun of creating material for its own sake or actually wanting to play a game. There is a small group on Deviant art where members post their own contributions, http://be-dnd-group.deviantart.com . Unfortunately there is no means of discussion there and not many in the group atm, which is also why I am posting.
One thing I particularly want to examine is one of the reoccurring themes of Breast carts. Since many of the potential characters created using the groups material will end up with massive and immobilizing chests, they must use a Breast cart to get around (not that they mind). You might have to read a few of the different pieces to get an idea for what we are looking at. Anywho, the question or questions I am getting at is that of penalties from breast weight. what weight do you think that support for the breasts should occur? when do they get penalties without any assistance (starting with a more specialize bra or magic)? How high do those penalties go?When do they reach the point where a breast cart is called for/warranted? Chatroom: http://DNDBE.chatango.com -I am on chatango fairly often, where i go by Darktiki. -------------- Just one last thing, To thepencilandpaperguy, we would be grateful if you would release your D20netbook of expansion, incomplete as it may be for inspiration and assistance of the topic. Re: BE in D&D Discussion
well if you also have the Book of Erotic Fantasy you can get some help in this sort of thing...but yes the weight would start to affect them if their STR is too low...

Re: BE in D&D Discussion
The only answer I can come up with is to just have specific penalties applied to each unnatural size that would be fitting to how they work against the character. For example: if the breasts are, say, as large as the entire torso, then the character would have trouble maneuvering and dodging, regardless of support (unless, of course, high strength involved, somehow). I've played a few DnD games among friends, and there have been times where, based on how unsuccessful the roll, heavy weapons end up working against the player.
If the character needs a breast cart, then I can't really see how she would be useful in battle. But, then again, I haven't played a BE-infused game. |

I've played a armless and legless character, Once you hit above level 10 and have access to psionics or magic you're pretty much set to be able to normally move no matter what, at least in 3.5

Except of course if you run into enemies who can spam anti-magic fields, or have to enter a dead magic zone.

Re: BE in D&D Discussion
Psionics works in the absence of magic normally. There is also antipsionic stuff though. If one is a high enough level battle dancer (like a monk but dancier) one can float without magic.

It's times like this when I wish I was a D&D nerd instead of a Pokemaniac.

Re: BE in D&D Discussion
To Daichi: Unfortunatly The book of erotic fantasy, book of unlawful carnal knowledge, and nymphology:blue magic do not contain anything in regards to inflation since they are all aimed towards introducing sex and not any specific fetish, though they do bring up some well known ones.
---- while most races would view cart bound chests to be something to avoid, the races that can be found in the DND BE group, all have a different mindset which sees insanely large boobs as a good thing; the bigger the better. In-fact they all (except one alien race of future based games) worship a deity that promotes luck, fertility, and breasts; She even rewards those who worship her sufficiently with bigger breasts. For the caster classes (bustmancer, milk maiden, wildbust) [milk=power, bigger breasts=more milk, more milk=more power] is what it boils down to, so in their mind being cart bound is ok. On top of that are the numerous spells, feats, and abilities that reduces the effective "Breast Weight", helps them get around, and even enables them to do some fun things with their boobs in gameplay. Plus all of the races are built to live with giant breasts. Only 3 of the playable races in the group can go above 100 pounds from lvl1 with out feats or traits. Its all sort of tongue and cheek, and that's part of the fun. Here is a list of the playable races, the dice roll that determines their busts combined max weight without feats or traits. This is all in pounds btw. Note: I think i read somewhere that an 34DD cup is about 3 to 3.5 pounds. I could be wrong. *Mammokin 5d3+5=30 *Mammokin elf 5d10-5=45 *Mammomans 5d3=25 (half human, half mammokin) *Half Omegamamkin 5d10+50=100 *Bloatkins10d10+40 /+10d10+40 deadweight=280 *Mammolings 1d4+4=20 (think halflings) *Mammozon 2d12+3=27 *Uddella 14 to 50 Callian (this is made of the following offshoots) *standard 4d6+2=26 *explorer 4d10+40=80 *nurse 10d6+90=150 *vanguard 4d6+2=26 |

Re: BE in D&D Discussion
Hey Zealot42 here (ignore the other name). Glad you are interested in the BE DnD action microme125. You should note me on deviantart if you have an account. Also thanks for realizing the whole BE DnD is all tongue in cheek, have encountered some people that thought otherwise.
