TF media closing up shop

Just thought people should know that TF-media.net is closing down. The proprietor is planning on putting up an archive, but there is probably a small window to get in and download any of the art or stories before the site goes down.

Wow, another tf giant coming to a close... our community is becoming tighter and tighter, at least he/she had the decency to offer up a download link of all the content.

Re: TF media closing up shop

The letter on the homepage is kind and reasonable at least. Still, boo.

Re: TF media closing up shop

Doc's Lab TF stories page, Foxx's TF page, and of course the TF-media site itself.
Crap.
Thanks for the heads up.
I have backed up docs lab and Foxx's art (dumped everything really) and will upload them later.

Not hugely surprised. When somebody takes on the sole responsibility for everything, it's bound to happen.

Re: TF media closing up shop

This is a blow. Kinda dazed and sad now.

I know there are some out there that will love that it's going down, but I don't think they go to this site and forum.

EDIT: Actually if you read the front page message, he is not taking down Foxx's or Doc's sites, as they can run on their own. He will still host them, just TF-Media proper will be gone. I'm really hoping he will keep the chat around, but that isn't likely.

Re: TF media closing up shop

That's a shame.

Hopefully Doc and the others will find another media hosting site.

They already lost furvect.

"TL;DR Version

Since apparently this is too much for some of you to read (really? Come on.) here's the abridged version:

The site's going down.
I'm not hiring any mods (read below to find out why).
Chat will stay up for awhile longer.
The other hosted sites (Foxxy, Freya, Doc's Lab) will all stay online indefinitely.
Chat links will be posted here at some point so people can still use the chat.
Do NOT back up your data from the site unless you REALLY have a need to. I will provide a download link of everything on the site.
If you want to contact me, use e-mail: admin -at- tf-media -dot- net. "

from: http://tf-media.net/

So to sum up, the only things going down are tfmedia and the tfmedia chatroom, the chatroom will stay longer than the site, but eventualy, it seems is going to be taken down too.

I created a Yahoo group for anybody who had stuff up there if they wish to post it and continue their works.
