Growth of July - An all-day struggle

I have been working on this comic <b>ALL DAY</b> today. I apologize if there might be any sloppiness in it, and that I left the characters in the comic colorless and shadeless, but I really wanted to get this done today.

Well, hope many of you enjoy it, even if it's not my very best work.

Okay, so given the lack of posts other than the ones from Somnuim and Zeller86, I guess this comic wasn't so good. If anyone can notify what may need to be fixed, I'll see what I can do.

Proportions, mainly. I liked the growth concept quite a bit.

Yeah. I'll admit I may have made her shoulders a little too wide, especially in the first panel. I'm glad you like the concept at least.

I think the shoulders are perfectly fine (not because I like wide shoulders, but because those shoulders are not wide period).
What could be improved are the limbs: they seem stuffed rather than fleshy, and they look like they have been 'attached' to the main body like she was a puppet. And her breasts are sagging :P

I also think that the colours choice is kind of odd. You have chosen a terse b&w comic-style with a realistic pitch-black starred sky, an electric blue background, and you had the last panel showing off real fireworks and a Office 97's Wordart-like multicoloured sign. It makes me think you could have looked for a better blending choice

I apologize if I sound overly critical, I liked the concept too, and I also loved her face in panels 1 and 4, very cute

Now that I see it, I think I may have made this a little too small to see all the details. Well, it's like this: Boy pulls prank and lights a string under the woman's shoe. the woman shoots up like a rocket while the boy watches from below. The woman shoots up higher, then suddenly "explodes" bigger. Then she lands on top of the boy and crushes him. Then the firework show starts.

You can't really see it in the first panel, but he has a lighter. Maybe I could post a bigger size later.
