Nature's own extra-wet, pure, liquid water. It gives me plenty of energy. I also hate the unnecessarily huge burst of jitter-filled energy caffeine gives me, and I like the exhausting crash that follows even less.

does not give you energy. Energy in diet comes from proteins, carbohydrates (sugars etc.), and fats. access to stored energy is increased by stimulants.

Black drink if I have had a bad day and I need to feel really good, Lady Grey (ie Earl Grey with lavender) otherwise

I'll rephrase. Water PREVENTS a lack of energy by preventing dehydration, which is a major factor in energy loss.

So more along the lines of I'm relying on my own energy stores, and using water to keep them from being cut off.

incorrect. Ilex vomitoria is the plant that is the source of black drink. Ilex paraguensis is the source for yerba mate

Caffeine also raises my blood pressure at crucial times where I run the risk of black out, and serves as a substitute when I run out of adderal
