Titaneer Muscle Growth Sequence
I commissioned Titaneer on DeviantArt for a muscle growth sequence involving Black Widow based on the recent Avenger's film and I loved the finished piece. I have to say I'm really fond of Titaneer's work. ^^ I've attached the image below.

Re: Titaneer Muscle Growth Sequence
I still prefer Titaneer's old Poser stuff. His new art is alright, but not the same awesome quality his old stuff was.

Yeah. Not gonna say no to FMG, but all the same, his newer stuff leaves me sad as I recall what once was.

"I know I lost a lot of fans when I first switched to traditional art, but there were a number of factors I quit 3D. One was cost; it takes money to stay on top of 3D art, and when the new base models came out I had problems adapting. I've tried going back a few times since I quit but I haven't been able to recapture what I had, mostly because I'm not awesome at creating my own custom muscle morphs and meshes like some other great artists on here. I also had problems with the newer versions of Poser and Daz 3D; I couldn't use them as well as the Poser I learned 3D on. I miss it some days but I'm pretty happy with my progress as a traditional artist. Female muscle is female muscle!" - Titaneer

That's unfortunate. Though I'm not sure why he could not continue using the stuff he already had. It's been years since I paid money to update my 3d stuff and I have not bothered to update to the new daz despite it being free because I didn't feel the need to.

Re: Titaneer Muscle Growth Sequence
Poser has a lot of constraints since it is essentially a character making program. This simple reason is why a good majority of poser art tends to blend together if you do not have a distinct hook i.e. Tigersan, CDR, ect. I for one applaud the fact that he has sought to train himself in traditional art. No disrespect to Poser users but, there are 6800 poser artists who don't have hooks and looking at a spread one couldn't tell who's art is who's. His art is far more distinct now.
The guys a good friend of mine and we talked about this every so often. The guy is a lot happier now. On top of that he is getting commissions left and right. I really don't see what is unfortunate about it.

I think it's unfortunate because he was so good at it, that's all.

Re: Titaneer Muscle Growth Sequence
Personally, I agree with BadIdeas here. There is a lot of indistinguishable Poser art out there, and if you don't have the skills or funds to customize your 3D models and textures, there's no hope of improving on that. While Titaneer certainly made some great 3D art, I think he has a much more recognizable style in his traditional drawings. And it's much better at conveying the violent, intense transformations that is my preference in the FMG genre.
